Romania: Magistrate Oleg Sternioală, accused of money laundering, leaves the system

The Vice-President of the Supreme Court of Justice, Oleg Sternioală, accused by anti-corruption prosecutors of money laundering in particularly large proportions, has resigned. The information was made public by the Minister of Justice, Fadei Nagacevschi, during a television show. The request for resignation of the judge is to be rejected or accepted by the Superior Council of Magistracy.
